Q. How do I measure my windows?

A. Measuring for pricing is relatively straight forward. Everything can be done from inside, so no ladders required

Simply take a tape and measure wall to wall of both the width and height of your window or door opening

Take the measurement in millimetres - mm, but don't worry, you don't have to be 100% accurate

That is good enough to get your design and pricing right. Should you decide to order with us, one of our qualified Surveyors will come to your home and take accurate measurements from inside and out, and look for the things you don't have too - so everything is double checked

Q. Do I have to place my order online?

A. No, most of our customers choose not too (but you can!). We don't take payment at this stage, we come to your home, double check everything, and only then take your payment

Alternatively, and highly recommended is a visit to our Abergavenny Showroom Studio where you can view and try all our products, and discuss these with an experienced member of our team

Q. How long are your online prices held for?

A. We guarantee online pricing for a minimum of 30 days, although always try to keep our pricing competitive, so don't often change our prices, only when it's absolutely necessary

Q. Will you share my contract details with everyone?

A. Absolutely not. Privacy is important to our customers, and critical to us - so we have a policy where we do not share your information with any other company for marketing purposes

Q. How accurate is the pricing given?

A. Very accurate, based on the information you enter. It's the very same pricing engines we use in your home and in our showrooms and offices - so it's a genuine price, not a simplified version to real you in

Q. I am unable to measure my own windows

A. That's not a problem. If you wish to use our online facility, then you could ask a friend or relative to help

Q. My home has access issues - is this a problem?

A. We have been installing windows and doors in homes like yours for nearly four decades, so have seen almost everything!

Almost every home isn't a problem, although we do have to comply with all relevant Health and Safety Laws, so on occasion safe access scaffolding or staging equipment is necessary, for which an additional charge may be necessary

We would always advise of this before starting the work, so you can decide if you still wish to do the project

Q. Are there any extras?

A. No - unless you want or need some. We include everything you need for a standard window or door installation, but if you require or want services like plastering (not normally necessary on window and door replacement), cut-outs, building works, etc. or internal window boards, you just need to ask and we can provide you with a quotation on this
